Dr. Anita Gotz

Dr. Anita Gotz first became interested in orthodontics at age 10 when she was prescribed a palatal expander. She quickly realized that orthodontics was the perfect blend of science, problem-solving, and human connection—giving patients newfound confidence in their smiles.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Gotz attended Queen’s University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she graduated as valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. During dental school, she conducted award-winning research, was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society, and received the Anthony Westwater Jong Memorial Public Health Award for her contributions to community-based dental research. She then completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Gotz is committed to a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s goals and needs. She treats children, teens, and adults, beginning as early as age six to evaluate for early intervention and growth modification. She specializes in comprehensive orthodontic treatment as well as minor adjustments for patients who have experienced relapse or want to perfect their smiles before a special occasion. Understanding the demands of busy schedules, she strives to offer flexible hours and last-minute availability to accommodate her patients.

Dr. Gotz is a certified provider of Invisalign and clear aligner therapy, helping patients achieve beautiful smiles without traditional braces. She has also completed advanced training in Botox which can be used for both orthodontic and aesthetic purposes.

Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Gotz is an active member of her community and loves spending time with her husband, Andy, and their two children, Dalia and Matan.
